Dhuha and her mother. Dhuha's name means "sunrise." This picture taken in Al Mansur Hospital, Baghdad, Dec. 1996. She has leukemia. In Sept. 1997, it had spread to her bone marrow. In Feb. 1998, there was no word from her. Dhuha lived outside Baghdad and no treatment was available; she may have died at home.
